2. Description of Service

Bandit provides algorithmic A/B testing and optimization tools via a cloud-based platform, API, and SDK. Our service uses multi-armed bandit algorithms to automatically optimize treatment distribution based on real-time performance data, helping you maximize conversions, clicks, revenue, and other key metrics.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with Bandit, you must:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Abuse, harass, or interfere with other users of the service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
• Intentionally exceed rate limits or circumvent usage restrictions
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications

5. Data & Privacy

We collect and process usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain full ownership of your data, including experiment configurations, treatment content, and event data. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

6. API Usage

Access to the Bandit API is subject to the following conditions:

• API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly
• Rate limits apply based on your plan tier
• We may throttle or suspend API access in cases of abuse or excessive usage
• You are responsible for securing your API keys and rotating them if compromised

7. Intellectual Property

The Bandit platform, including its algorithms, software, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bandit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your experiment data, treatment configurations, and custom content remain your property. We claim no ownership over the data you submit to the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Bandit shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost revenue or profits resulting from algorithm decisions
• Service downtime or interruptions
• Loss of data beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Your data will remain available for export for 30 days after termination, after which it may be permanently deleted. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
